Levy, Kate Meil, In our society women have not had many opportunities to have their serious expressions heard and have had continuing difficulties being accepted as artists and recognized by museums and galleries. The Puffin Foundation Ltd. is very pleased to be part of a new awaeness of the need for dignity and equality for women in the arts. This special exhibition, highlighting the creativity of seven diverse women sculptors, exemplifies our mission of "continuing the dialogue between art and the lives of ordinary people."
